Happy Birthday Air Force 1

As most of us know this marks this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Force One. The Air Force is a special shoe to most if not all of us for many different reasons. In 1982 a man by the name of Bruce Kilgore had a wonderful idea and design for a sneaker that would change the sneaker game forever. Though the Air Force One was not the 1st shoe to sport the Nike Air technology (the Nike Air Pagusus was 1 year or so earlier) it was the most influential sneaker to market and make the technology popular. The Nike Air Force one is considered if not by all most the most popular sneaker known for many reasons. What once was a shoe designed for pure performance is now considered by most a casual sneaker. The shoe started as a Hightop profile followed by low which is still considered to be a original profile with a midtop profile introduced later in time.  The 3 profiles is definately one of the reasons for the popularity but one of the main reasons is that no matter what the colorway, fabric or pattern there is a Air Force One for it. The shoe has probly had more colaborations than any other shoe or any rapper put together. In fact there is no true number of how many colorways there are of the Air Force One. In honor of the Air Force Ones (Forces, Uptowns, Ones, or whatever nickname you give the shoe in your region) I decided to post up some of my favorite Air Force Ones. They are in no order and are just SOME of my favorites. Happy birthday Air Force Ones again and thanks Bruce for the wonderful shoe. Let us know whats your favorites in the comments.
