Looks Like The 90's Will Be Back For Nike 2012

Here recently we have been receiving a few looks at what Nike plans to release for 2012. One common thing I noticed is that most of the retro's are shoes from the 90's which was definitely a good shoe era for Nike. Here's a look at another shoe we can expect from Nike next year. The Nike Air Speed Turf Max is slated for 2012. Just in case the colorway shown is not to tour liking the shoe is set to be released in about 4 different colorways. Those SBTG People "Spit Hot Fire" (say it like Dylon) Again

The good people over at SBTG have made quite a name for themselves in the customizing world and these customs show exactly why. The customs shown are named "Spitfire". The shoe takes a Air Jordan III as the platform (looks like a "fire red") with a dope tiger camo print. The shoe has a primary colorway of army green with hints of black and a red portion of the sole. The shoes are available. Okay We Should Know By Now Mr. Cartoon + Kicks=Dope

Here's a look at a another Mr. Cartoon X Vans OTW collabo. This one is dubbed Palomar. The shoe is constructed with navy blue leather with Cartoons signiture etchings in gold stitching. Definitely Be Noticed To The Max With These

Nike has decided to keep the ball rolling in 2012 with retros and bright colorways. The Nike Total Griffey Max 99 Dark Grey/Soar/Cyber is set to release in spring 2012. The colorway is definitely springlike. I have a feeling that this colorway will be a cop for most Griffey and Max fans.

Air Jordan XIV White/Red Returns For 2012

Adidas Gets Fast With With This Quickstrick

5 Dope (Non Nike) Sneakers I Feel Should Be Retro'd

With all the Retro buisness going on it seems we relive our child hood and memories of shoes from teenage to early childhood years. With that in thought through the mid 80's to early 90's sneaker designs began to get bolder and more innovative which to some was a golden era in kicks to some. Of course alot of this was attributed to Jordan Brand early years however there was millions of dollars given for sneaker contracts starting to emerge for other brands that seemed to come and go or just fade into the memories of sneaker heads alike as Nike dominated the court and feet of the youth. I sat and thought and though this is just a short list and there are PLENTY more I figured I would give a look at and salute to some of the best NON Nike or Jordan Brand shoes from the "golden era" that I would like to see retro'd. Now some of the shoes shown have been retro'd and some I heard are planning to be but what sneakerhead would turn down a retro repeat? A personal top 5 includes the Adidas Mutumbo, the Pony "Spud Webb", Larry Johnsons signiture Converse (Cons) Aero, Hakeem Olajuwon's signiture Spalding shoes and the Patrick Ewing Signiture Rogue II in no specific order.
